Freedom on three wheels
At Hase Bikes, we build tricycles exclusively using the delta principle. Because we are convinced that this is the best construction method. Deltas have a steering wheel at the front and two wheels at the rear; the seat is located in the rear third between the front and rear axles. This construction not only ensures high tilting resistance and good traction. Find out all other benefits here:
Small turning circle
Thanks to its geometry, a tricycle can be turned almost on the spot — which is not only very useful when parking.
Ground clearance can be increased
Our tricycles have the necessary ground clearance for everyday use. Because curbs, ramps, etc. must not become a safety risk or insurmountable barriers.
Take a seat instead of climbing
On a Delta-style tricycle, you can sit comfortably on the seat between the rear wheels. The downlink can be used as a stand-up aid.
Can be stored vertically
Standing parking allowed! The fact that our tricycles can stand securely on the rear wheels and seat is a space-saving option inside and a real eye-catcher outside.
Can be attached to a bicycle
Great for trips together: With the trailer set, a tricycle with a mechanical brake system can be attached to a normal bike. Simply release the front wheel with the quick release clips and you're done.
Two-wheel drive? Quite possible!
With a tricycle, there is a lot of weight on the rear axle, which gives the rear wheels good traction. With a differential, the driving force goes to both wheels.
Can be connected to a tandem
Make one out of two: With a tandem coupling, you can connect two tricycles together — for protection or for fun.
Overhead arms as an option
The single steerable front wheel and long frame enable models with an intuitive top link.
At eye level with car drivers
A high seat means more visibility. And more visibility more safety. Still good though: a flag on top!
