Within the historic walls of the old mine, you can feel the spirit of past industrial culture – combined with our vision of contemporary mobility. High ceilings, massive steel beams, and an open space concept create an atmosphere that inspires and excites.

Next to our bikes, you'll find a lovingly curated shop in Schaltwerk. Here you'll discover high-quality bicycle accessories, regional treasures like local honey, fair-trade organic chocolate, art postcards, and exclusive t-shirts from our Hase Bikes special edition.
Living room and workshop: both at once!
The old production hall has been renovated with great attention to detail and adapted to modern needs. This way, we combine industrial charm with contemporary amenities.
Simply drop by, browse through our small shop and take a closer look at our bikes. For personalized consultations, please schedule an appointment with us. If you're coming from far away, we're happy to talk on the phone beforehand to ensure your visit isn't in vain.
Everything at a glance
Our Schaltwerk shop offers a large selection of fun, unique, and useful cycling accessories, along with clothes and locally sourced honey.
In the neighboring buildings, you will find our workshops, production lines, and warehouse areas. We are also open on Saturdays (but not on Mondays). And sometimes there is even ice cream! Be sure to keep an eye out for our event information: The Schaltwerk is also a great place to celebrate.
Expert consultation & test rides
Our team of experienced consultants offers appointments for in-depth consultations several times a day. Prior to your appointment and test ride, the preferred bikes and/or trikes will be prepared in accordance with your specific needs and preferences.
Free factory tour
Initially, the entire manufacturing facility fit into the former magazine building of the mine. In 2022, production was moved to a new hall. Here you can see how the trikes and bikes are assembled. Packaging, wheel building, the Schaltwerk with our shop, and final test rides of our bikes are additional stops on the tour.
Workshop appointments
Have you already fulfilled your dream of owning a bike or trike from Hase Bikes and are now looking for a qualified bicycle workshop for maintenance, modification, or repair work? Then the Schaltwerk is the perfect place.
Hase Bikes Shop
The lovingly furnished Hase Bikes shop in the Schaltwerk is the perfect place to find gifts, Hase Bikes merch, and unique cycling accessories.
Beratung und Probefahrt
Wir nehmen uns immer viel Zeit für eine ausführliche und individuelle Beratung. Lass uns gern im Vorfeld schon Infos darüber zukommen, welche Anforderungen du an dein neues Bike stellst. Dann können wir für die Probefahrt alles bestmöglich vorbereiten.
Wir arbeiten übrigens einerseits mit vor-konfigurierten Topsellern, die wir auf Lager haben und andererseits mit vom Grundmodell aus frei-konfigurierbaren Custom-Rädern. Hier ist deiner Individualität kaum eine Grenze gesetzt: Von Motorleistung über Schaltung hin zu Gepäckutensilien und deine Wunsch-Rahmenfarbe nach RAL-Classic: Alles ist möglich.
