When Marie and Niklas talk about the Pino, you notice it straight away: It’s not just about mobility – it’s about an attitude to life. For both of them, mobility means freedom. Flexibility. Comfort. The opportunity to go about their daily lives with ease, even without a car. And sometimes even the journey becomes a destination – with your favourite music in your ears, the wind in your face and the feeling of leaving all your cares behind.
The Pino is their faithful companion – and more than just a bike. It is an all-rounder, a real all-in-one bike. They sometimes cycle alone, sometimes as a couple and sometimes with or without luggage. It literally brings the two together – with Marie at the front with the best view and Niklas at the back steering. And between them? There is constant conversation, shared laughter and the feeling of security: We are on the road – together.

Professionally, they are both shaping the future: Marie in the expansion of fibre optic infrastructure – she is organised, solution-oriented, with a passion for detail. Niklas in the training of young police officers – with self-possession, thoughtfulness and the aspiration to convey values. What drives them? The desire to live consciously. Time instead of speed. Quality instead of quantity. And the joint project of life. They love getting stuck in – whether they’re doing DIY or planning the next adventure. In winter they are drawn to the snow; in summer to the sea. And if they want something completely different? Then Iceland is on the list: rugged, unspoilt, fascinating. “We’re a bit like our Pino,” they say. “Unusual, but totally harmonious.”

Two personalities, many facets - and one great shared passion: togetherness. They are joined at the hip, but never run out of things to chat about. And on the road? People often approach them: “What kind of bike is that?” “Our mobile sense of togetherness,” says Marie. “It is a real conversation starter,” adds Niklas. And they both know that that’s exactly the point. To create connections - on the road, in everyday life, in life.
